Our intervention
Objective
Design a simple, global tool for managing B2B goods deliveries, from request for quotation to delivery follow-up, enabling each phase to be monitored and its impact determined (costs, time, CO2).
Faced with the growing complexity of international logistics chains, Bolloré Logistics wanted to develop an innovative tool capable of centralizing all information relating to the transport of goods. Polaris was to provide a global, real-time view of shipments, enabling delays to be anticipated, carbon footprints to be calculated and costs to be optimized. The aim was to offer B2B customers a high-performance interface for tracking each container precisely throughout its journey.
In-depth analysis of sea and air transport processes, identification of critical points in the supply chain and precise understanding of the needs of different users (carriers, customers, administrators) to design a tool adapted to all use cases.
Definition of key personas and user interviews to understand their expectations, frustrations and needs. This phase enabled us to identify priority functionalities and create a user experience focused on operational efficiency and ease of use.
Structured information architecture to logically organize technical and functional functions. Intuitive navigation for rapid access to essential information (shipment status, costs, documents) in a demanding professional context.
Creation of hi-fi wireframes, followed by development of mock-ups and interactive prototypes. These prototypes were tested with real users to validate ergonomics and refine the interface before technical development, guaranteeing an optimal user experience.
Implementation of a comprehensive, scalable design system. Creation of reusable components, definition of a coherent graphic charter and elaboration of strict application rules to ensure visual consistency throughout the platform and facilitate future evolutions.
Creation of an assertive visual identity to break with the usual codes of B2B interfaces. Application of a chromatic palette structured around Bolloré blue, enriched with dynamic accents, subtle shadows and meticulous typography to bring depth and modernity to this professional platform, while maintaining excellent legibility.
For 1 month, we organized co-design workshops with Bolloré Logistics teams to identify all the nuts and bolts of freight transport and determine what was of value to the user.

Together with the Bolloré team, we mapped out and presented the many user paths through a detailed mapping of interactions. We visually materialized each critical step, from the simple login to the complex management of shipping delays. Our UX work consisted in anticipating the various user scenarios, particularly incidents, by designing a real-time notification and assistance system. This enabled us to identify friction points and optimize the overall experience, even in the most complex logistical situations.
