Artificial intelligence is radically transforming our relationship with digital. ARNEO deciphers for you this major revolution that is redefining the standards of user experience, where personalization becomes the keystone of any successful interface.

The gradual end of directed UX, replaced by managed UX!

User experience design is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. We're moving from a linear, predefined approach to a dynamic experience where AI orchestrates every interaction in real time.

The emergence of a new paradigm

Interfaces are becoming not only more intelligent, but also more intuitive and proactive. UX designers now take on a strategic role: defining the framework of possibilities, while AI generates tailor-made paths adapted to individual behaviors.

The revolution is here. The LLM will understand the user's context and, in real time, draw from the catalog of design system components to design the page on the fly, precisely meeting the user's needs!

Directed UX > Framed UX
The UX professions must evolve. Interfaces must become more intelligent and adapt to the real context of the user's needs. AI plays a major role in this contextual interpretation.

The Design System as the cornerstone

Documentation is the key to success!

The Design System becomes the common language between designers and artificial intelligence. Each component requires meticulous documentation in natural language, enabling LLMs to compose coherent, relevant interfaces.

Some essential new skills that UX designers will need to integrate into their processes:

  • Expertise in advanced technical documentation
  • Mastery of adaptive design systems
  • In-depth understanding of generative AI mechanisms
  • Ability to define scalable usage rules

Contextual personalization in action

AI analyzes user behavior in real time to deliver a unique, customized experience.

Let's take the example of a new-generation travel platform (such as Booking or Airbnb):

Context : I'm looking to go to northern Italy for a romantic weekend. I love hiking and gastronomy, but I also want to enjoy some relaxing moments. I have a budget of 700€ for the weekend and I like natural places / eco-responsible accommodation.

With this simple prompt, I give context to a UI generation engine that builds me a specific page for my profile, with what it knows of my booking history and other relevant data.

It creates a page with a title, information on possible itineraries, the various POIs and day-by-day activities. And of course, it offers me cards of different accommodations within my budget with photos so I can make my choice. And the call to action allows me to book the whole stay at once, or modify what booking suggests.

To sum up, a simple prompt triggers:

  • The generation of personalized itineraries
  • Selection of eco-friendly accommodation
  • Targeted activity recommendations
  • Optimized planning according to preferences

What about you?

Digital transformation is accelerating, with 75% of companies already integrating AI technologies into their processes. This evolution requires an adaptation of skills and a new approach to design.

At ARNEO, we're anticipating these profound changes by implementing LLM-powered blocks in our "traditional" experiences to test the approach and verify the relevance of the information returned by the model.

Because in the end, the end-user will be the sole judge of the relevance of the rendering, whether it has been thought up by a human or not.

It's essential to stay focused on the quality of execution and rendering, rather than rushing towards change without a net.
